  • Summer 2025, I was selected to attend a paid high school  research summer internship program at University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Center for Materials & Nanoscience. This program was from June 2 – August 7, 2025 and was sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience. 

    • Worked in Professor Laraoui’s lab on nanoscale quantum sensing microscopy (https://cms.unl.edu/engineering/laraoui/team/): implemented T1 (Longitudinal Relaxation Time) and T2 (Transverse Relaxation Time) in a laser-microwave system for nitrogen vacancy centers in diamond. 

    • Quantum sensing refers to the use of novel quantum mechanical properties to measure physical quantities with extreme sensitivity and precision that significantly surpass the capabilities of traditional sensors.
